Two Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 183

Austin, Texas (November 15, 2022) – Two people were killed early Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in southeast Austin, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 1:50 a.m., November 14, in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 183.

Police said the crash involved a vehicle and a tow truck.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was taken to the hospital with potentially serious injuries.

The crash closed the northbound lanes of the highway at East Riverside Drive.

The police are investigating the crash.
