2 Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Bush Turnpike in Rowlett

Two Killed in Rowlett Two-Vehicle Crash on Bush Turnpike near Lakeview Parkway

Rowlett, Texas (November 30, 2022) – Two people were killed early Tuesday morning in a wrong-way crash in Rowlett, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened shortly before 12:20 a.m., November 29, in the southbound lanes of the Bush Turnpike near Lakeview Parkway.

DPS said a 1993 Nissan pickup was heading northbound in the southbound lanes of the tollway when it crashed head-on into a 2013 Nissan Altima.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the victims have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
