2 Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on North Beltway in Houston

Two Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on North Beltway at Veterans Memorial

Houston, Texas (January 11, 2021) – According to police, two people were killed in a wrong-way crash early Monday morning in Houston.

The fatal crash happened around 12:15 a.m., at the North Beltway and Veterans Memorial.

Police said a black car was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the beltway when it crashed head-on into another car.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to the hospital where they later died.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

The crash closed the road for more than three hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
