2-Month-Old Baby Killed and Two Adults Injured in Coleman County Two-Vehicle Crash at N. Colorado Street and U.S. 84 Bypass

Coleman County, Texas (May 11, 2020) – A 2-month-old baby was killed, and two adults were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Mother’s Day in Coleman County, a local news source reported.

The deadly crash occurred on May 10, at the intersection of N. Colorado Street and the U.S. 84 bypass.

Police said a jeep, occupied by two adults and the 2-month-old baby, all from Kerrville, failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a southbound pickup truck on the U.S. 84 bypass.

The impact pushed the jeep into a ditch where it rolled over.

The two adults were airlifted to Hendrick Medical Center in unknown conditions. They were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The baby was taken to a Coleman hospital where they were pronounced dead. They were not secured in a safety seat at the time of the crash.

The pickup truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

The Coleman Police Department is investigating the crash.

We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statues which were violated.
