2 Seriously Injured in Fire Truck Crash on SH 45 in Austin

Two Hospitalized after Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on South Highway 45 near Parmer Lane
Austin, Texas (April 7, 2019) – Two people were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Northwest Austin, a local news source reported.
The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. April 6, on South Highway 45 near Parmer Lane.
Police said a car rear-ended a fire truck for unknown reasons on the highway.
A man in his 60s was taken to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. A woman in her 60s was also taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The police are investigating the crash.
