Two Students and Four Adults Hospitalized after Raymondville Crash on IH69E at FM 490

Raymondville, Texas (May 27, 2023) – Two students and four adults were hospitalized after a school bus accident on Thursday morning in Raymondville, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, May 26, on IH69E at FM 490.

Authorities said the elementary school bus collided with a pickup truck on IH69E southbound lane on the FM 490 overpass.

Two students and four adults, including the truck driver, were transported to local hospitals.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
