2 Students Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 973 in Manor

Two Students Hospitalized After Manor Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 973

Manor, Texas (April 27, 2021) – According to the police, two Manor ISD students were injured early Tuesday morning in a head-on collision in Manor.

The crash occurred around 2:09 a.m., in the 13200 block of N. FM 973.

Police said a pickup truck, which had seven Manor ISD students on board, collided head-on with another vehicle on the highway.

Some of the students were riding in the bed of the truck at the time of the crash.

Two of the students sustained injuries in the crash. One of them was airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries, while the other victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Officers said alcohol was a factor in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
