2 Teens Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Water Street in Gonzales

Gonzales, TX. – Two teens from Temple were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Gonzales on June 29, according to the Gonzales Police Department.

Reportedly, the accident occurred at about 8:35 p.m. on June 29 near the 1100 block of Water Street.

The report indicates that a gray Ford Escape was traveling northbound on Water Street when it hit the rear driver’s side of a southbound white Mazda CX5. The Escape then continued traveling in the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a black Dodge Ram.

Two teens in the Escape were transported by ambulance to San Antonio Military Medical Center where they later died.

The driver and a passenger in the Dodge Ram were transported by EMS to Gonzales Healthcare Systems Memorial Hospital where they were treated and released.

An investigation is ongoing.
