Two Women Injured After Car Crashes into Waco Home on Bosque Boulevard

Waco, Texas (May 30, 2020) – Two women were injured Friday morning after a car crashed into a home in Waco, according to officials.

The accident happened at about 9:45 a.m. May 29, along Bosque Boulevard.

Officials said an SUV was heading eastbound on Bosque Boulevard when it drove over a curb and slammed into a home.

A woman who was sitting outside on her front patio was struck by the vehicle and was pinned between the vehicle and the house.

Another woman who was inside the home also sustained injuries in the crash and called 911.

Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the trapped woman. One of the firefighters suffered a minor injury in the process.

Both women were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not disclosed.

The SUV driver was uninjured in the crash.

The house was tagged unsafe for habitation because of structural damage.

An investigation is underway.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statues which were violated.
