Two Killed in Falls County Car Crash on Highway 7 near FM 107 and CR 499A
Falls County, Texas (July 8, 2019) – Two women were killed in a head-on collision on Sunday evening in Falls County, according to the Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place at about 6 p.m. Sunday, July 7, near FM 107 and CR 499A.
Deputies said a Chevrolet passenger car was heading west on Highway 7 when the driver tried to overtake another vehicle and collided with an oncoming Ford SUV.
The impact caused the SUV to roll over.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Baylor Scott and White in Temple, where she was pronounced dead.
Two passengers in the Ford were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
