2-Year-Old Girl Hit by Car on Chariot Drive in Dallas

2-Year-Old Girl Injured in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Chariot Drive

Dallas, Texas (May 8, 2020) – A 2-year-old girl was hit by a car Wednesday night in East Dallas, according to police.

The accident took place around 8:30 p.m. May 6, on Chariot Drive near the intersection of Buckner Boulevard and Forney Road.

Police said the child walked out from between two parked vehicles and into the street where she was hit by a passing car.

The car dragged the child for a short distance.

The driver remained at the scene and rendered aid to the child. 

The girl was taken to the hospital minor scrapes and burns and possibly some internal injuries.

Officers said the girl’s mother would be charged with child endangerment.

The police are investigating the crash.
