21-Year-Old Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on I-45 in Montgomery County

21-Year-Old Killed in Montgomery County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45

Montgomery County, Texas (December 3, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Wednesday night in a wrong-way crash in Montgomery County, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before midnight, December 1, on Interstate 45.

Police said a 21-year-old man was driving the wrong way in the southbound lanes when he crashed head-on into an 18-wheeler.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The 18-wheeler driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The 18-wheeler, which was loaded with rolls of cotton, was destroyed by fire.

The crash remains under investigation.
