21-Year-Old Man Killed in DWI Crash on North Freeway in Houston; Thiago Gamaro Arrested

21-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway; Thiago Gamaro Arrested

Houston, Texas – A 21-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning in a DWI crash in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:35 a.m., March 3, in the 7500 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).

Police said Thiago Ortega Gamaro, 21, was driving a white Honda Accord at a high rate of speed northbound with his 21-year-old male passenger on the hood of the car. The male passenger was ejected from the hood of the car, landed on the ground, and was struck by at least one or more vehicles. He was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

Gamaro was determined to be impaired and was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

The police are investigating the crash.
