24-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston 4-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway near Shepherd Drive

Houston, Texas (November 15, 2021) – A 24-year-old man was killed Sunday morning in a four-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 2:50 a.m., November 14, on the Southwest Freeway near Shepherd Drive.

Police said the man was driving northbound on the freeway when he was rear-ended by another vehicle.

A silver Infiniti and a BMW also crashed into the man’s vehicle, causing it to roll over onto the right shoulder of the freeway.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver who caused the crash fled the scene. The police are looking for them.

The Infiniti driver remained at the scene after the crash.

The BMW driver was taken to the hospital where they were evaluated and was charged with DWI.

The crash closed all inbound lanes of the freeway at Shepherd Drive for several hours.

The police are conducting the investigation.
