3 Children, Father Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash at Telephone Road and Broad Street in Houston

Four Including Three Children Injured in Houston Car Crash at Telephone Road and Broad Street

Houston, Texas (September 15, 2019) – A father and his three children, under the age of ten, were injured in an alleged hit-and-run crash Saturday night in southeast Houston, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just before midnight, at the intersection of Telephone Road and Broad Street.

According to the police, a car was making a turn from Broad Street onto Telephone Road when another car which was westbound on Telephone Road, occupied by four people, ran a red light and crashed into the other car.

The impact ejected one of the children from the car. Two of the children sustained broken arms while the other child sustained several cuts on the forehead.

The children were taken to Texas Children’s Hospital for treatment. Their father also sustained injuries in the crash.

The four people in the other car left the scene and were picked up by a dark-colored Dodge Charger.

The authorities are looking for the suspects.
