3 Including 2-Month-Old Injured in 3-Car Crash on I-27 in Amarillo

Three Hospitalized after Amarillo Car Crash on I-27 at 34th Avenue
Amarillo, Texas (April 8, 2019) – Three people including a two-month-old girl were injured on Sunday in a traffic crash in Amarillo, police said.
The crash occurred on Sunday, April 7, on I-27 south under the 34th Avenue overpass.
Police said a woman was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus and was in the left lane with a flat tire when it was rear-ended by a 2014 Hyundai Sante Fe, driven by a 28-year-old woman. The impact caused the Hyundai to spin around and collide head-on with a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 24-year-old woman.
A passenger in the Taurus, a 2-month-old girl, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another small child and a 19-year-old man were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The police are investigating the crash.
