3 Hospitalized after Lubbock Car Accident at West Loop 289 and 34th Street
Lubbock, Texas (June 18, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized Monday morning after a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to a local news report.
The wreck was reported to police at about 8:20 a.m. Monday, June 17 near the intersection of West Loop 289 and 34th Street.
According to the police, a van was traveling southbound on the loop’s access road when its driver failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a pickup.
The van driver and two occupants of the pickup were transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The eastbound lanes of 34th Street were blocked off at the intersection as crews worked at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
