3 Injured in 2-Car Crash on Federal Road in Houston

Three Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Federal Road and Market

Houston, Texas (August 11, 2022) – Three people were injured early Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in east Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 3:20 a.m., August 10, near the 1200 block of Federal Road and Market.

Police said officers with the Jacinto City Police Department were chasing suspects accused of stealing vehicles. The chase ended when the suspect, a 15-year-old, crashed into a woman’s vehicle.

The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Two other occupants in the suspect’s vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect was taken into custody but has been released to his parents. He is facing a third-degree felony for evading police in a motor vehicle, but charges could be upgraded later.

The crash remains under investigation.
