3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at 24th and Fresno Streets in Plainview

Three Injured in Plainview Two-Vehicle Crash at 24th Street and Fresno Street

Plainview, Texas (October 8, 2020) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday night in Plainview, according to police.

The crash happened at about 10:00 p.m., October 5, at the intersection of 24th and Fresno Streets.

Police said a Mazda was heading southbound approaching the intersection. It then failed to yield the right-of-way while turning left and was hit by a Chevrolet SUV.

The driver and passenger of the Mazda were taken by private vehicle to Covenant Hospital Plainview with non-life-threatening injuries.

The SUV driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Mazda driver was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.

The police are investigating the crash.
