3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on West Bellfort in Houston

3 People, Dog Injured in Houston Crash on West Bellfort at West Sam Houston Parkway

Houston, Texas (April 15, 2023) – Three people and a dog were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in southwest Houston, according to Houston police.

The crash happened at about 12:00 a.m. on West Bellfort at West Sam Houston Parkway.

Houston police said an SUV was traveling southbound on West Sam Houston Parkway when it was t-boned by another vehicle that was heading westbound on West Bellfort t-boned.

Due to the impact, one of the vehicles rolled over. Two people were trapped inside the overturned vehicle.

The extricated victims and a third person were transported to a hospital in serious but stable condition.

The dog was in one of the vehicles and sustained minor injuries. An HPD sergeant transported the dog to an animal shelter for the owner.

It is undetermined which driver ran the red light at the time of the crash.

Houston police are investigating the crash.
