3 Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 290 in Austin

3 Injured, 1 Seriously, in Austin Crash on Highway 290

Austin, Texas (October 30, 2022) – Three people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash on a highway in North Austin early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 4:15 a.m. in the 11000-11017 block of E. U.S. Highway 290.

Authorities said two vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lanes of the highway.

A total of three people were injured as a result of the crash. One patient was airlifted to Dell Seton Hospital in serious condition while the other two victims were taken to St. David’s North with non-life threatening injuries.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
