Three Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Old Grissom Road

San Antonio, Texas (May 17, 2021) – Three people were injured early Sunday morning in a head-on collision in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:29 a.m., May 16, on Old Grissom Road.

Police said a Red Fiat was traveling eastbound while a Green Mountaineer was traveling westbound.

The Mountaineer crossed over into the eastbound side and crashed head-on into the Fiat.

Both drivers were unresponsive and were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

A passenger in the Fiat was also taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Officers said the Mountaineer driver might have been intoxicated at the time of the crash and is facing an intoxication assault charge.

The crash remains under investigation.
