Three Injured in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on 6th Street and I-35 Service Road

Austin, Texas (January 16, 2022) – Three people were injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Austin, according to the police.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m., on East 6th Street and N I-35 Service Road southbound.

Police said two vehicles were involved in a collision and one of them fled the scene after the crash.

One adult was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

Two other adults were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
