Three Injured in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (April 3, 2021) – Three people were injured early Friday morning in a motorcycle crash in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to police.

The crash happened around 2:15 a.m., April 2, on Interstate 35 North between Starlight Terrace and Weidner Road.

Police said a man and a woman were riding on a motorcycle when they were rear-ended by a vehicle.

That vehicle fled the scene.

The driver of a white truck tried to assist the motorcyclists but didn’t see a Mazda on the roadway and crashed into it. The impact caused both vehicles to run off the roadway, where the Mazda rolled over onto the access road.

Both motorcyclists and the Mazda driver were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with minor injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
