3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 34 and Old Wagon Road in Quinlan

Three Injured in Hunt County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 34 and Old Wagon Road

Quinlan, Texas (April 21, 2021) – Three people were injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in south Hunt County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 8:15 a.m., April 20, at the intersection of State Highway 34 and Old Wagon Road.

DPS said a 2013 Kia Sport was traveling northbound on SH 34 while a 2009 Kia Optima was turning southbound onto SH 34 from Old Wagon Road.

The Optima failed to yield the right of way to the Kia Sport, resulting in a collision.

The Kia Sport driver was taken to Hunt Regional with non-life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in the Kia Sport were also taken to the Medical City of Plano with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Kia Optima driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
