3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US 87 in Lubbock

Three Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 87 at CR 7500

Lubbock, Texas (December 21, 2022) – Three people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash south of Lubbock, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash was reported around 1:53 p.m., December 20, on US Highway 87 at County Road 7500.

DPS said a vehicle was heading southbound on the highway when it crashed into another vehicle that was heading eastbound on CR 7500.

Both drivers and a passenger were taken to University Medical Center with moderate to serious injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
