Three Hospitalized after Walker County Crash on Interstate 45

Walker County, Texas (September 14, 2019) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in Walker County between Huntsville and Madisonville, a local news source reported.

The collision happened on Friday, September 13, in the northbound lanes of I-45.

As per the report, the crash involved a car and a pickup truck.

Responding firefighters had to use special equipment to free some of the victims from the car.

One person was airlifted to the hospital in unknown condition. Two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The northbound lanes of I-45 were closed following the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
