3 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on I-820 in North Richland Hills

Three Injured in North Richland Hills Four-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 820

North Richland Hills, Texas (November 28, 2019) – Three people were injured and a dog was killed Thursday morning in a wrong-way crash in North Richland Hills, according to the police.

The crash happened around 5:15 a.m. on Interstate 820.

Police said a Chevrolet Tahoe entered the Boulevard 26 exit ramp and headed westbound in the eastbound traffic on the interstate. The Tahoe then hit two SUVs and a sedan.

The sedan driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A dog in the sedan was killed in the crash.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of a fourth vehicle was uninjured.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
