Three Killed in Harrison County Car Crash on Interstate 20

Harrison County, Texas (April 2, 2019) – Three people were killed in a collision between two vehicles late Monday night near Marshall in Harrison County, according to a DPS report.
The wreck happened at about 11:10 p.m. April 1, on Interstate 20.
DPS said a truck pulling a semi-trailer was eastbound on Interstate 20 when the semi-trailer was hit by an eastbound Ford Edge.
The impact of the collision caused the Ford to flip and got engulfed in flames.
Three passengers in the Ford were pronounced deceased. The Ford driver suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a Shreveport hospital for treatment.
The identities of the parties involved in the accident were not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
