Three Killed, One Injured After Houston Building Collapse on Town and Country Boulevard

Houston, Texas (October 7, 2020) – Three people were killed, and another was injured Monday afternoon after a building collapsed in west Houston, according to authorities.

The collapse was reported just after 1:30 p.m., October 5, at 990 Town and Country Boulevard near CityCentre.

Authorities said the collapse involved newly constructed stairs, starting at the 13th or 14th floor of the 15-story building.

Three people were killed in the crash.

One person was rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.

There were 240 construction workers at the time of the collapse, and all of them have been accounted for.

The building under construction is for Houston-based Marathon Oil’s new headquarters.

The crash remains under investigation.
