3 Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Dallas North Tollway in Dallas

Three Killed in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Dallas North Tollway near I-635

Dallas, Texas (April 12, 2020) – Three people were killed in a wrong-way crash early Sunday morning in Dallas, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash happened around 3:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway near Interstate 635.

Authorities said a Chrysler passenger car was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of IH-635 when it crashed into another Chrysler passenger vehicle.

Investigators said the Chrysler had been traveling the wrong way on the highway for about a minute before the crash.

The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire.

Two people in the wrong way vehicle and the other driver were declared dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
