Three Seriously Injured in Haltom City Two-Vehicle Crash on Glenview Drive

Haltom City, Texas (November 13, 2020) – Three people were seriously injured in a head-on collision Thursday night in Haltom City, according to police.

The crash occurred around 7:10 p.m., November 12, in the 4600 block of Glenview Drive.

Police said a 34-year-old man was driving a black Mazda 6 while a 70-year-old woman was driving a red Ford EcoSport SUV.

The Mazda drifted over the centerline, causing the Ford driver to veer to the left in an attempt to avoid a collision. The Mazda driver then over-corrected back to the right, across the centerline, and the vehicles collided head-on.

Both drivers and a passenger in the Mazda were trapped in the vehicles and had to be extricated.

The Mazda driver was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with serious injuries. His passenger was taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital with serious injuries.

The woman was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash closed all lanes of Glenview Drive from Old Denton Road to Jordan Park Drive.

The police are investigating the crash.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons for driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
