30-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas (May 28, 2021) – According to the police, a 30-year-old man was killed in a three-vehicle crash last week Thursday in Houston.

The deadly wreck occurred around 9:05 a.m., May 20, in the 9100 block of Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road.

Police said a white International tractor-trailer truck was traveling southbound when it made an improper right turn from the wrong lane and was hit by a white Ford E250 van.

The van was then rear-ended by a red Chevrolet Equinox.

The van driver, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released. 

The 18-wheeler driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.
