31-Year-Old Woman Killed after Car Crashes into 18-Wheeler on NE Loop 820 in Haltom City

One Killed in Haltom City Two-Vehicle Crash on NE Loop 820 Service Road near Beach Street

Haltom City, Texas (March 23, 2020) – According to the police, a 31-year-old woman was killed early Monday morning after she rear-ended an 18-wheeler in Haltom City.

The fatal crash occurred just before 12:45 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the NE Loop 820 service road near Beach Street.

Police said the woman was driving a Dodge Challenger at a high rate of speed when she crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler. The impact caused the Dodge to flip over.

The woman was declared dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

No further details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
