31-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Four-Vehicle Crash on Bingle Road at Hempstead Road

Houston, Texas (January 27, 2022) – A 31-year-old woman was killed Sunday night in a four-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 1:05 p.m., January 23, at the intersection of Bingle Road and Hempstead Road.

Police said the woman was driving a silver Nissan Altima eastbound on Hempstead Road when she ran a red light at the intersection and was struck by a burgundy Acura TL that was traveling northbound on Bingle Road with a green light.  

The force of the impact caused the Acura to hit a green Toyota Highlander, which was traveling northbound on Bingle Road. The Nissan struck a green Ford F-150 pickup truck, which was traveling on Hempstead Road and was waiting to make a left turn onto Bingle Road. 

The woman was taken to Memorial Herman Greater Heights Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.

No one else was seriously injured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
