32-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on US-54 in El Paso

32-Year-Old Fort Bliss Man Killed in El Paso Motorcycle Crash on US-54

El Paso, Texas (April 18, 2022) – A 32-year-old Fort Bliss man was killed on Saturday in a motorcycle crash in El Paso, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened shortly before midnight, April 16, in the northbound lanes of US-54.

Police said the man was riding his motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed when he came up upon two vehicles, and he attempted to drive between them.

The man lost control of his motorcycle and rear-ended a 2008 Honda Civic driven by 18 –year old Evan Israel Neria.

The man was ejected from his motorcycle, and he landed on the landscaping rocks that separate US-54 and the Transmountain exit. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No other details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
