35-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Sam Houston Parkway

Houston, Texas (May 24, 2022) – A 35-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred around 5:35 p.m., May 23, in the 6600 block of South Sam Houston Parkway West service road.

Police said the man was driving a brown Kia Soul southbound at a high rate of speed when he changed lanes and did not see a Ford F-550 tanker truck that was stopped due to traffic.

The Soul then rear-ended the tanker truck.

The Soul driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the tanker truck was not injured in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
