39-Year-Old Man Killed in Galleria Motorcycle Crash on Westheimer Road near Sage Road

Galleria, Texas (February 22, 2021) – A 39-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in the Galleria area, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m., February 20, in the 5200 block of Westheimer Road near Sage Road.

Police said five motorcyclists were racing down the street when four of them collided with a taxicab that was attempting to make a U-turn.

The fifth motorcyclist managed to swerve out of the way.

One of the motorcycle riders, a 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The other three motorcycle riders were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

The police are investigating the crash.
