4 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84 in Lubbock

Four Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84 near CR 2900

Lubbock, Texas (June 7, 2023) – Four people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened shortly after 4:30 p.m., June 6, on Highway 84 near CR 2900.

DPS said a car was traveling northwest on the highway when it tried to turn into a crossover. The driver realized it was the wrong one and pulled back into the lanes of travel in front of a pickup truck, resulting in a collision.

The driver and passenger of the car were taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The driver and passenger of the pickup truck were treated at the scene.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
