4 Injured in Multi-Car Crash on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels

New Braunfels, Texas (April 29, 2019) – A three-vehicle collision left four people hospitalized on Sunday morning in New Braunfels, according to a police report.
The collision occurred just after 3 a.m. April 28, in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35.
According to the police report, a Nissan Sentra driver, identified as a 23-year-old New Braunfels man, was allegedly speeding when he collided with a Dodge van on the intersection. The Nissan ended up colliding with a Ford F-150 after the initial impact.
The Nissan driver was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
The Dodge was being operated by a 46-year-old woman from Kentucky who had three passengers. The woman and two of her passengers were all taken to Resolute Health Hospital in New Braunfels with non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the involved parties were not immediately released. The crash is under investigation.
