Four Hospitalized after Sherman Two-Vehicle Crash on East Houston Street

Sherman, Texas (September 26, 2019) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Sherman, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. September 24, on East Houston Street near Vaden Street.

Police said the crash involved two vehicles.

One of the vehicles caught fire. Three unresponsive people were trapped in the vehicle. The victims were extricated and were taken to Wilson N. Jones in critical condition.

One of the drivers was intoxicated and was airlifted to a Plano hospital in critical condition where they underwent surgery.

The 1200 block of East Houston Street was closed after the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
