4 Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 146 in Dayton

Four Killed in Dayton Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 146

Dayton, Texas (February 18, 2020) – Four people were killed in a head-on collision Monday morning in Liberty County, just south of Dayton, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 a.m. February 17, on Highway 146.

Dayton police said a man was driving southbound on the highway when he veered out of his lane and crashed head-on into a truck.

Both drivers and two passengers were killed in the crash.

Another vehicle was hit during the crash, but no one was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
