Four Killed in Armstrong County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 287 at CR 30

Armstrong County, Texas (November 5, 2022) – Four people were killed Friday morning in a head-on collision in Armstrong County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 5:00 a.m., November 4, on US 287 and County Road 30, south of Goodnight.

DPS said an SUV was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway when it collided head-on with a semi-truck.

Four people were killed in the crash.

The semi-truck driver was uninjured in the crash.

Traffic was slowed in the area for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
