Galveston, Texas (August 7, 2022) – Two children and two adults were killed and several were injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night in Galveston, police said.

The deadly collision happened at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, August 6, at the intersection of 33rd Street and Avenue R.

According to the police, the crash involved an SUV, a truck, and a golf cart.

One person was pronounced at the scene. Several other patients were taken to a hospital, where three victims later succumbed to their injuries.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
