43-Year-Old Man Killed in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Accident on Waldron Road

Corpus Christi, Texas (September 18, 2021) – A 43-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in Corpus Christi, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 11:00 p.m., September 16, in the 900 block of Waldron Road near the Naval Air Station Drive.

Police said the man was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident heading towards the base.

The man was killed in the accident. His name has not been released.

The authorities are looking for the driver, who, if found, will face a 2nd-degree felony charge for the crash.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with any information about the driver is asked to call (361)888-TIPS.
