45-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 973 in Southeast Austin

Austin, Texas (March 29, 2020) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in southeast Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.

The fatal crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. on FM 973 at Pearce Lane, near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Police said the crash involved two vehicles.

A 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to St. David’s South Austin with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The APD is investigating the crash.
