49-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Navigation Boulevard in Houston

Rider Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Navigation Boulevard at 75th Street

Houston, Texas (October 3, 2019) – A 49-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident Monday evening in Houston, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on September 30, at 7500 Navigation Boulevard and 75th Street.

Police said a man was riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Navigation Boulevard. A red Hyundai Accent which had been heading northbound on 75th Street was stopped at the red light at the intersection. 

When the light turned green, the Hyundai drove through the intersection, but the motorcyclist ran the red light and the two vehicles collided.

The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
