Five Hospitalized after Leon County Two-Vehicle Crash on I-45

Leon County, Texas (November 29, 2019) – Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thanksgiving Day in Leon County, according to the authorities.

The collision took place on Thursday, November 28, in the southbound lanes of I-45 at mile marker 154.

Authorities said a car collided with a travel trailer on the interstate.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the driver of the car and the front-seat passenger.

The passenger was airlifted to the hospital with unknown injuries while the driver was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.

Three children in the back seat were also rushed to the hospital. One of the children was airlifted.

The crash remains under investigation.
