Five Injured in Lubbock Crash Involving Citibus at 16th and Texas Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (October 29, 2019) – Five people were injured Monday afternoon in a traffic collision involving a Citibus in Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 1:00 p.m. on October 28, at the intersection of 16th and Texas Avenue.

Officials said a Citibus collided with a blue passenger vehicle for unknown reasons at the intersection.

A dumpster and a high-line pole were hit in the crash.

Two people sustained moderate injuries, and three others sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
