Dallas, Texas (December 12, 2021) – Five people were injured early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Dallas, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m., December 11, at the intersection of Commerce Street and S. Riverfront Boulevard.

Police said Dallas PD officers were in pursuit of armed carjacking suspects who were traveling eastbound in the 100 block of Commerce Street in a black Nissan Frontier.

A 25-year-old woman was driving northbound on S. Riverfront Boulevard with a female passenger.

As the woman was driving through the intersection with a green light, the driver of the Frontier, a 16-year-old, ran a red light and crashed into the woman’s car.

The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Frontier driver, with their passengers, a juvenile, and two adult passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The 16-year-old has pending charges of evading arrest and aggravated robbery.

The police are investigating the crash.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
